As a registered dietitian nutritionist with a Masters degree in Nutrition, I am an expert on the great health benefits of good nutrition.  That means I am trained to share the facts about foods, beverages, eating patterns, agriculture, sustainability, recipe development, food safety, nutrition analysis, healthy menus, global culinary trends, and creative ways of reaching audiences with the refreshing message, “The More You Know, The More You Can Eat!”

My international travel focuses on culinary highlights, healthy lifestyles and cultural topics with an emphasis on the people and plates that teach us so much about the world we share.  As an award-winning writer, I contribute to WebMD Magazine, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and major regional luxury publications including Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and VIE Magazine. 

I’m interested in joining press trips to learn about and write about the many wonderful destinations in the world.

As an accomplished speaker for both professional and public audiences I have delivered more than 200 presentations worldwide including keynote addresses, speeches, workshops, and as a panel participant. I am especially skilled as an emcee or moderator to boost audience participation and to bring the best out in all participating speakers.  

Speeches include those delivered for The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, The National Restaurant Association, The Culinary Institute of America, Cordon Bleu of South Korea, The James Beard Foundation, The U.S. Department of Agriculture, The New York Times, The American Soybean Association, the Wonderful Company and Crystal Cruises.
